Another Blizzard!
Dec. 16th, 2007 10:46 amI woke up this morning all excited because today I am supposed to go to the annual Illusions Magic 'n Miracles Show. All proceeds go to the Firefighters Benevolent Fund. I try to go every year but I don't think I'll be going this year. I got out of bed and came upstairs and looked outside and... WOW! There's already 20 cm of fresh snow on the ground and the weather network is saying there will be about 60cm on the ground by the time is stops early tomorrow morning. I bet W and R across the street are just loving this! The hill at the bottom of my driveway is going to become a mountain. lol
So Eric is having a surprise birthday party today. It's going to be at our house and his friends are all coming around 2pm. Eric knows about it. Apparently Eric had called Donna (the one who organized it) to ask if D'n'D was still on for tonight and she had told him no because her brother Kevin has an exam tomorrow. She then asked if our house would still be available and when he said yes, she told him to leave the day open. Eric is a pretty smart guy, it didn't take much for him to figure things out. Funny thing is I hadn't heard anything about it from Donna until 3am this morning! Sometimes I wonder about my friends.
So I think I'll spend the day dressed in fluffy, soft and warm clothes and playing on my computer. Then have some birthday cake at my brother's surprise party. Nice.
