I talked to Yuko Tsuneda last night around 11pm.  I met her in Canada about 9 years ago and then I went to school with her and her sister at Junshin 6 years ago. She's now living in the next prefecture over from Nagano (I can't remember the name of it) about 3 hours by direct train from Tokyo.  She's in her last year in Medical school studying to become a doctor!  I talked to her sister this morning and it looks like if I go to Disney Sea on Tuesday (which is looking more and more likely), then both she and Yuko should be able to come with me!  So I'm happy about that!

Last night I slept really poorly.  Remember yesterday I wrote that it should be a nice quiet night with jus the three people in my room?  well I must have forgotten to knock on wood or something because one guy came in at about 12:20am and another guy came in at about 2am.  They both had to turn on the light in order to find their bed ('cause they are numbered) and get their suitcases stowed and their things setteled.

Frell

And the Japanese guy turned the fan off (I guess it was too loud for him or something, i dont know) so the room was really quiet compared to usual and 2 people were snoring! SO I didn't get any real sleep until about 5am. I was listening to music trying to rest, the music drowned out most of the snoring, but I didn't do more than doze with it on. I did get up to turn the fan back on during the night and that helped a bit, but not enough... and the Japanese guy got up at 5am and tunred off the damn fan and then he left!! WTF???  His buddy got up at 6am and left shortly before 7.  At 7 I got up to go to the bathroom and turned the fan back on.  Then the snoring was down to a minimum and I could tune it out and I finally slept.  My alarm woke me up at 8:50 and I got up to go chat with mom at 9am.

Today I went back to the museum and went back to the theatre 360 again....that's three times now and I still love it!  I got a portable translator this time (language guide) that had pre-recorded translations for most of the exhibits.  I realized that I really didn't need it, it was more annoying than anything else.  So I wasted $3 on it, lol   oh well.  I had fun anyways.

When I left the museum it was raining, and there was thunder in the distance.  I'm glad I brought an umbrella this time because when I got to Ikebukuro it was pouring cats and dogs and the thunder was really loud!  I passed the Rosa Bowl Movie theatre on the way to the hotel (I usually pass by on the other side of the street so I hadn't realized it was there) and decided to go see Naruto at 5:30. I don't watch the show but I know a little bit about it so I figured I'd be fine to see the movie since most movies are stand alones anyway. So I bought a ticket.  My University ID works here so I got in for student price ($15). ouch!

But I was bored and it was something to do, soooo.....

I had abit of a headache and I was really tired from last night so I went to lay down for a bit and rest before the movie in my room.  I was the one one in the room at the time, all the other beds were empty and there was no luggage except mine.  I'm glad to note that there are 4 more people in my room now so that probably means there won't be any more coming in today.  (knocked on wood this time!)

I got to the movie a little early and when I got upstrairs (the movie was on the 2nd floor) there was someone in the lobby dressed in a Naruto costume (talk about publicity).  So I got my picture taken with Naruto LOL!  And then went to sit and wait for the movie to start...one of the empoyees came in to tell us all that Naruto had stopped in to hang out for a while before the show and would love to meet us and take pictures. LOL  Like we didn't already know that, most of us had done the meet and greet and picture taking on the way to our seats. lol
Japan is funny that way.

OH! but one thing it has going is that the movie theatres are SO comfortable!  They have really nice comfy plush seats that are wide and have lots of leg room between ailes. It's wonderful.  I often wonder if that's part of why it's so expensive to go see movies here.

So now I'm back at the hotel, I went upstairs to make dinner but the kitchen was occupied with a bunch of people cooking and what not so I'm going to wait for a while...I'm not really hungry yet anyways.

So that's it for today.
I hope everyone has a good day.
