It's Not Fair
Jun. 23rd, 2008 11:14 amMy sister just called me. Long distance and early where she is. Never a good sign. And the sound of her voice....
Her son, my nephew, was in an accident. He's been air lifted to the University of Edmonton Trauma Centre. His spine was severed. He's a paraplegic. And I can't go see him because he's 2 provinces away and I can't afford to the air fare. I feel so bad for my sister, M is her youngest.
But he's strong, and he's got a strong marriage, and he's got full use of his arms and neck so he'll be fine.
God this sucks
