So, we got 60 cm (2ft) of snow yesterday/last night.  I'm snowed in.  Needless to say there are no school busses running today and the garbague collection has been pushed back a day.  I was supposed to go out driving today but I've decided that's probably not a good idea... and todays trip to Denny's for dinner with friends is also being put off because it's a 20 minute walk to the bus stop and the half the roads aren't plowed yet...

You know, for a country that is known world wide for it's snow, one would think we'd be better prepared to clean up the snow after a storm.  WE SUCK!

So now I'm at home, enjoying my day off.  I've watched some SG-1 and even got my brothe to sit down and watch an episode with me!  We watched Collateral Damage.  I love that episode.

I've just finished wrapping a Christmas present for a friend who is coming over today.  I haven't seen T since school started.  He's coming over with a few other people for pizza and cake to celebrate Eric's birthday (that was actually last week but things just keep getting in the way).  Speaking of Eric, I can't find him... which is weird, 'cause his shoes are at the door and yet he's no where to be seen.  Our house isn't THAT big. hhmmmm.

Anyways, seeing as I have guests coming very soon, I should probably go see about making the house slightly presentable.  Eric's D'n'D stuff is covering the living room and that's probably where we will be congregating.  This should be fun.

It is my firm belief that anywhere people live, there will always be people running around like chickens with their head cut off when there is snow. Or something like that.
