I just got home from seeing "The Golden Compass" with Raphael.  I was expecting to like the movie and I was definitely not disappointed.  A lot of people complained about the ending.  I'm guessing that they didn't realize (or care) that the movie is a trilogy.  That means that the movie is only a few chapters long!  The end of the movie ended perfectly if you accept the fact that it isn't the end of the story.  I was very satisfied with the way this movie ended.  I'm just impatient to find out what happens next.  They do a nice lead in to the contents of the next movie so it leaves you wanting more.  I really enjoyed it and so did Raphael.

I went out for breakfast with mom and Eric this morning (around noon),  We went to this new restaurant that just opened today called Kelly's.  It opened up where The Brig used to be.  It's a really nice lay out and the food and service is really good too!  There is even a kids corner with a leather couch and chair in front of a big screen tv that was playing Mickey Mouse's Play House while we were there.  The only complaint we had (well my mom and brother had) was that the chairs are not wide enough.  My mom and brother couldn't fit into the chairs properly because the arm rests are too close together.  They had to sit at the front edge of the chairs.  Any one much bigger than me (size 18ish) would not be able to fit into these chairs.  But the food, service and atmosphere are really nice so they are willing to go back anyways.  We did mention it to the owners and pointed out a few other people who were having the same problem and the owner took it under advisement.  He was really nice. We'll be going back there soon, I'm sure.

The rest of the day was spent thinking about my paper that's due on the 14th. I still don't know what the hell I'm gonna do about it. It's not like I can ask for an extension.  I guess I'm just going to be low on sleep for the next week. oh well.  Thank god it's only one more week of hell. haha.
Thank god there is so many Cameron Mitchel fics for me to read to get my mind off it when I need a break. lol  I'm looking forward to reading some Teal'c/Cameron stories soon.

And now I'm going to bed because I've been up since 8:30 and it's already just about midnight.  And I know that if I stay up much later (like last night when I didn't get to bed until 2am) I am going to have a REALLY hard time getting up for school on Monday! lol
